How We Started

Stanford Peak Commerce began in a small California kitchen with a warped cutting board, a chipped enamel pot, and a stack of towels that never quite dried anything. We went looking for replacements and found too many options that looked the same and wore out just as fast.

What We Carry

So we narrowed it down. We keep a short catalog of home and kitchen goods that we have used ourselves, and we write about them the way we would describe them to a friend.

• Cookware that handles a weeknight braise and a Sunday loaf
• Linens and towels that get better with washing
• Tableware and boards sturdy enough for daily meals
